My stay at room2 hometel began with a very warm welcome from staff in the Lounge (main entrance). Whilst checking in we were surprised and delighted to find that our room had been upgraded from Lounge Loft to Master Loft for our one night stay, one of the biggest rooms room2 offers.
What looks like a cute little cafe from the outside turned out to be the most gorgeous, modern and surprisingly big hotel.

You can definitely enjoy a short or long stay at the room2 hometel.
Our Master Loft room was stylish and homely, almost like a studio flat. It had everything we needed and more, including a bits and bobs box of essentials and games. You can even bring your pet with you. Attention to detail definitely ensures that you will have a relaxed and comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, near all the main attractions in Southampton.
My partner and i made the most of our stay by enjoying drinks in the lounge before and after heading out for dinner. We had the best nights sleep in our large king sized bed and fully indulged in the hot buffet breakfast in the morning! Delicious!
room2 hometel is above and beyond anywhere i have ever previously stayed! They offer a 24 hour stay (check in and out at 2.00pm) and have modern technology available to make your stay as easy and effortless as possible.
I would definitely revisit room2 hometel to have either have a coffee in their cosy cafe or to stay a night or two. I highly recommend this hotel, why not give it a try and treat yourself?
